Our mission

Knierim Yachtbau is one of the major German shipyards in the yachting sector. Knierim manufactures sailing yachts according to the client's individual requirements. The quantities are correspondingly small, while the quality is exceptionally high. In addition to building new boats, Knierim is also active in yacht servicing. 

The aim of Knierim's communication measures is to build a community and increase brand awareness in the "community" . Ultimately, this should lead to the placement of repair or new construction orders.

Our approach

To support the community development, a social media strategy was developed. The first step was to identify relevant platforms. For the core target group of Knierim, these are Instagram and Facebook.

In order to create a functioning editorial production flow, we developed target group-oriented photo and video formats.

On the one hand, recurring formats have the advantage that they make production easier because a fixed vision of the content is shared by all those involved in the production process. On the other hand, formats bind users to Knierim's social media offering.


The result

As a strategic approach, we developed three relevant categories for content from Knierim: Storytelling - Insights - Aesthetics

Specific Formats in the execution are among others:
- "Knierim Legends", a high-quality presentation of previously built boats
- A description of the stages in modern yacht building
- Insight into everyday life at the shipyard
- "Knierim Rewind", a monthly review in the format of a short video

 

In the first 90 days of our collaboration, Knierim's Instagram account increased its follower numbers by around a quarter. The reach of the channel increased many times over.
